Hello,yesyes..im back! =D
The trip to sabah is definitely a memorable and unforgettable one, i learnt a lot of things that i never know and i really know whats the true meaning of 'endurance'!
this post is a picture-filled one but i left out a lot already, for the sake of your eyes! hahah.

Meet up with glenn for dinner at pasta mania before i leave for school..
thanks for your gift! without it, i guess i will be suffering from insomnia for four nights! (:
I still rmb how i cried that night due to many reasons and went for odac with puffy eyes! i guess many were shocked! hahah

DAY1
We woke up at 2AM and i dint sleep for the whole night due to the hardground in classroom! :/
Took bus to Senai Airport then transfer AirAsia to kota kinabalu.

it's only 5 plus in the morning..

Some of us had merrybrown before we board the plane!

It's cool isnt it? the seats there are sortof like swing! :D

After the two hours ride, when we are about to set off to Bundu Tuhan Children's Home, one of my odac mate discovered that she lost her money as she forgot to take her wallet out from the bag when we are checking in..
From then, we had learnt that our bags had been open when we check in our bags in the airport..

I dint expect that to happen . I learn to appreciate the security level we have in singapore airport and not to take them for granted. Perhaps the people there resort to do that due to poverty..

the view from the orphanage and when the clock hits 6 the sky will start to turn dark alr!
you wont see this in singapore!

Well,that night was v meaningful as we went to the children home and we stayed overnight at the hostel near there.
When i see the children there,it reminds me of the orphanage that i had visited two years back!
The same kind of feeling came back again!! i cant help feeling sad for them.
As what i had heard there are 70plus to 80 of orphans there and some are as young as six years old. They are so adorable!!
It's so heartbreaking to see them without their parents when they are so young!!
I really hope they had fun in those games and the gifts really makes them think there are still someone who loves them..

DAY2

The nightmare begins from here to day3! i swear! hahah
woke up early in the morning and we reached kinabalu park..

Then proceed to the starting point with the mountain guides..
okay and the climbing of mt kinabalu begins!

we continue to climb even when it drizzles! :/

AND there's RARELY straight path, the first 1000m i guess is all flight and still flight of steep stairs up! oh man, each step i took is like after stepping zillion of lemons i tell you!

i guess im just nt use to it :/

JOANNA! If she's nt there with me during the climb, i guess i'll take a much longer time to climb up! We push each other on whenever anyone is tired and remind each other our aim of this trip is to CLIMB UP THE SUMMIT!

But! i claim that, it looks cuter this way! LOL i dont care if anyone disagree with me!
i guess i went mad climbing and i just want to wear it that way! hahah

After climbing for 3273m(!!), we finally reach laban rata!

A rest place for us before we continue to climb up the summit of mt kinabalu!
when i saw pendant hut, no words can describe how i felt!!
imagine you climb for six whole hours and finally you reach yr destination kind! hahah

It's nt a full-stop when you reach the hut, you still must use ropes to climb up before you can rest!! LOL

im tired alr!!

Thats the place where we sleep!
and i still rmb that night i had Altitude Mountain Sickness and was having headache!
im still discussing with the rest whether i shld continue on to climb next day as next climb will last from next day 2AM to at night 8PM alr. imagine 18hours of it?
im afraid my body could nt take it...

DAY3

Woke up at 1am in the morning so basicly we just slept for a few hours.
I had decided to go for the climb, 2am and we started to climb up the submit!
Once again, it's drizzling adding to the coldness as it's only 14 degrees at laban rata..
Im standing right infront when we are climbing man thus when im exhausted tt eventually gave me the motivation nt to give up.

''Each step i took, i will be one step nearer to the submit!'' motivated me on!
Joanna,eugene and i climb together and the higher we climb,there's lesser oxygen!
At that time i get breatheless v easily and im like sleepwalking man cus im v tired!
Luckily there's joanna there, she motivated me and we walk hand in hand to climb up mt k!
so sweet right? hahah

and YES! SOME OF US REACHED THE SUMMIT!
it's not easy at all man!!!
the temperature up there is maybe lower than 3 degrees due to the rain!

When we are climbing down,imagine how hard i tried to climb up and nw i must walk back the same route down! :/ haha

but the pretty scenaries there are really worth the climb!

Oh ya, we climb down partof mt k by world highest 'VIA FERRATA'

At first i dont want to go for it, as I KEEP FALLING AND SLIPPING DOWN!

omg! i dont know why, damn clumsy! cant help laughing at myself! haha

the 'via ferrata' is sort of like you abseil as a team down the mountain!

i overcome my fear man!yesyes in the end i went for it!

so proud of myself! LOL

After all this, it's around 1 plus PM alr..imagine climbing from 2am to 1 plusPM!

and yet after resting for 1 hr,we are climbing down alr.

Climbing down as in the way tt i climb up in day 2 the 3273m rmb?

Seriously nightmare man! D:

& how lucky can we get? it's raining v heavily when we are climbing down!

when we reach the kinabalu park it's alr 8pm at night!

so proud of myself man! although i keep whining tt my knees hurts like hell!

Just when i thought we can go to the hostel and rest alr, there's LANDSLIDE!

tt even add on to the true meaning of 'endurance'! hahah!

DAY4

Night was spent at slagon homestay!

girlfriends!

went to the owner's fruit garden !

there's also cultural dance at night too! fun (:

DAY5&DAY6

I got food poisoning on day 5! it's my first time!

Vomited 5-6 times that day! Feeling damn horrible! But i still join the rest for shopping and get the things that i like. All the food there are dam cheap but i cant eat as i know i will sure vomit! ):

Eating sour plum as my dinner like some pregnant woman :/

It's definitely a memorable trip as it's my first time experiencing a lot of incidents like 'via ferrata','landslide','mt k','food poisoning' and etc!
